15th April Mystery ride. Possible new MTB route we will get Dave to email a note out when the details are finalised.
20th May keep this date aside for the next longer Road bike ride to Stamford hill with a possibly morning tea at the turnaround point or close to it.
17th June possible Dutton Bay ride (shorter harder) ride still in the planning stages.
Tuesday Morning 9.30am at thepace of the slowest rider from Arteyria out to National Park entrance and back to cruisers for a coffee.

Peninsula Pedallers about us.
This is the blog for the Peninsula Pedallers.
Our club was formed to encourage cycling on Eyre Peninsula in 2000 .
Our aim is to be an inclusive club which encourages cycling amongst the residents and visitors to the Eyre Peninsula South Australia.
We have several set rides every week.
See the rides list on this edge of the Blog. There is also a attached list of upcoming rides.
After these rides we do what all good cyclists do after a ride and return to one of our club's sponsors "Del Giornos" Cafe to have a coffee and chat.
We have a regular beginners ride on a Tuesday morning at 9.30am departing from the Arteyria Gallery. This is the perfect place for cycling beginners to start riding. There is lots of encouragement and help getting started and we only ride at the pace of the slowest rider.
This is a shorter ride, with the group usually only going to the National Park entrance. This is flexible though. We have no hesitation in shortening the ride to make it comfortable and enjoyable for new riders.
After this ride we return to Cruisers Cafe at the Port Lincoln Marina for a coffee and chat.
We are sometimes met by some of the original club members who can no longer ride.
The Peninsula Pedallers are an affiliated club of Bicycle SA and the Bicycle Institute of South Australia (BISA).
I hope this blog covers the regular activities of the club and I will post links and cycling items that catch my interest from my travels on the world wide web. When man invented the bicycle he reached the peak of his attainments. Here was a machine of precision and balance for the convenience of man. And (unlike subsequent inventions for man’s convenience) the more he used it, the fitter his body became. Here, for once, was a product of man’s brain that was entirely beneficial to those who used it, and of no harm or irritation to others. You are right, Jeff. It's totally breathtaking. What's the lesson here? That anything is possible on a bike, and that in Australia, we are not yet even at the toddler stage.
ReplyDeleteI don't mean in relation to the fun riding and the friendship you all share in your ground, the pedallers, and which looks so inviting, I mean in relation to using bikes as transport to unclog our cities of the car infestations which are slowly killing them. Cheers, Mike Rubbo
